Mechanical Fixings and Joist Hangers

To compliment a number of our products, we are pleased to confirm that we are now stocking and supplying a range of Heco and Powerline screws together with Simpson Strong-Tie and Cullen joist hangers.

The Heco and Powerline screws are available in a wide range of sizes, head types, thread drives and coatings and these high quality screws are suited to the professional user.

The Powerline dense board screw with phillips recess, phosphate coating and needle point is particularly suited to fixing Sasmox boards to light metal framework or timber studwork. The head design assists the seating of the screw below the surface of the Sasmox board, due to the cutting ribs under the head, without risk of damage to the surface of the board. The screw is available in a diameter of 3.9mm and in lengths between 19mm 55mm.

The Heco-Topix woodscrew is particularly suited to the installation of on rafter insulation boards, such as the Steico Universal and Special, but can also be used for general construction and woodwork. In many cases the Heco-Topix can replace conventional rafter anchors. The screw is available in diameters between 6mm 10mm and in lengths between 80mm 450mm.

We are pleased to also be able to offer both Simpson Strong-Tie and Cullen joist hangers for use with engineered wood products, including I Joists and Glulam. A wide variety of connectors are available delivered direct to site and full technical support is available for selection of the correct connector.
