Masonite Beams Applications

The Masonite Beam system is approved for use in walls, floors and roofs and when combined with our glulam ridge beams and Panelam® edge binders, provides a complete timber framing solution.

Due to the unique nature of the components of the Masonite Beam, they are ideally suited to those projects, where the designer and end client demand both high structural and environmental performance.

With years of experience in both the unusual and standard designs, there are few applications that the Masonite Beam has not been used for.

The Masonite stud with it's I Section profile and depths ranging from 150mm to 300mm allows increased insulation in the walls with reduced thermal bridging and a major saving in raw material, when compared to a conventional timber stud. Being an engineered product, you will experience greater dimensional stability and all the benefits of continuous head binders up to 12000mm in length.

We offer both a standard and industrial beam profile to meet the demands of lightweight construction, long spans and large dimension panels for floors and roofs. For those sites where there are access issues, the lightweight nature of the beams allows efficient stick building on site.
