Panelvent®

Panelvent® is a 9.2mm sheathing board, developed specifically for the timber frame industry as an alternative to plywood or OSB. Combining the benefits of a category 1 racking strength and a water vapour open construction, Panelvent® assists in the design of a healthy living environment.

Manufactured from wood chips and forest thinnings, Panelvent® utilises the unique Masonite defibration system to combine: low formaldehyde emissions in use and low embodied energy in manufacture.

Whether you are designing an enhanced vapour transfer wall, breathing construction or conventional timber frame, Panelvent® provides you with the following benefits: 

• Water vapour open construction 1.47MNs/g
  
• High racking strength 1.73Kn/m
  
• Thermal contribution 0.08W/mK
  
• Low formaldehyde - <.002mg/m3
  
• In some circumstances a breather paper may not be required.
