SasmoX - What is it?

Manufactured by SasmoX Oy in Finland, the SasmoX range of gypsum reinforced fibreboards are perhaps the finest environmental building board available today. Manufactured from 83% recycled gypsum, 15% waste wood fibres and 2% water, SasmoX is a truly green product.

The factory holds both ISO9001 and ISO14001 for its management system and has a committed quality control team to ensure the product arrives to your door as it should.

The high gypsum content of the board makes SasmoX Class O surface spread of flame and Class 1 Building Regulations approved. The board has also been approved by HM Prisons and is part of a Loss prevention Certified Building system.

Users of the board include modular system manufacturers, timber frame manufacturers and self builders where the ready to decorate surface of the board have brought added benefits to the final structure whether steel or timber frame. 

Tested to category 1 Racking strength pursuant to BS5268 SasmoX can allow the Architect or Engineer greater freedom in his design and confidence that he is using a product based on sound environmental and structural principles.
