Manufactured from wood fibres and sourced from FSC certified suppliers we can offer natural, waxed and bitumen impregnated softboard in thicknesses ranging from 4mm through to 200mm in a wide range of densities.

This production flexibility allows a diverse range of different products to be created including underlay, notice boards, flexible insulation in batts and sheathing boards for timber frame applications.

Due to the water vapour open nature of softboard and its lack of harmful content, softboard is the natural way to insulate a structure providing a healthy living environment for the occupants. With a lambda value of 39mW/mK, products such as STEICOflex provide excellent protection against solar gain and can act as a heat store.

Our Foxtrot underlay which is available in a range of colours and in thicknesses of 4mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm and 7mm is the ideal underlay for parquet and laminate flooring protecting against impact sound and assisting the general acoustic performance of your floor.
