Masonite Beams

Masonite beams are structurally engineered timber I profile sections, using selected, slow grown high grade whitewood for the flanges with Masonite K40 structural board for the web.
The Masonite Beam has been manufactured in Rundvik, Sweden since 1974 and has both BBA Approval and is CE marked. The factory are FSC chain of custody certificated and they hold ISO 9002:2000 for their manufacturing process.
Masonite I Beams are the only engineered I beams in the world to use K40 board as a web material which, in conjunction with the high grade timber used for the flanges, provides a truly engineered solution for your project requirements.

Due to the unique manufacturing process of the Masonite K40 web material, virtually no adhesive is used in their manufacture, resulting in a low formaldehyde emission beam. For this reason, Masonite was the first company to be approved in Sweden as a manufacturer of non-allergenic building products.

Providing a whole timber framing solution, the Masonite Beam provides an effective solution for a wide variety of applications including schools, social housing, affordable housing and eco builds.
